SiVault Systems Signs MOU to Acquire LinksPoint
Companies to provide state-of-the-art location-powered
solutions and mobile authentication, non-repudiation to
distribution, transportation, utilities and government
sectors
NEW YORK and NORWALK, Conn., Sept. 9,
2004 --
SiVault Systems Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SVTL), a
leading provider of products and services to implement
secure storage and retrieval of signed documents and
signature-based authentication for processing of on-line
transactions, said it signed a memorandum of
understanding to acquire Links Point Inc. (LinksPoint).
The parties contemplate an exchange of restricted common
stock and the terms and conditions of the share purchase
agreement are subject to approval of both boards of
directors.
The proposed terms were not announced and are subject
to further negotiation and the completion of due
diligence. There can be no assurance a final agreement
will be reached.
LinksPoint provides Location Powered Solutions(TM)
built around three enabling technologies -- Global
Positioning System (GPS), Geographic Information Systems
(GIS) and Mobile Computing. LinksPoint gives enterprise
customers unprecedented control over mobile operations
through its solutions for vehicle tracking, navigation and
