 The GlobalPoint GPS is a low power Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver for use with the
Intermec 700 family of rugged mobile computers.
The GlobalPoint GPS attaches to the
serial port at the bottom of the device and requires no external connections.
GlobalPoint GPS receivers for the Intermec 700 are
built on the SirfStarII chip set architecture from
Sirf Technology, Inc. The GlobalPoint GPS receiver outputs GPS information as industry standard NMEA sentences which are compatible with most GPS software applications.
LinksPoint’s GPS receivers offer
typical accuracies of 3-5 meters uncorrected, and 3 meters
or better with Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) correction.

accuracy prvoides 95% Circle Error Probability (CEP)
position accuracies of <5 meters with WAAS correction
and <10 meters uncorrected.
