The
GlobalPoint GPS receiver for the MC70 is now available. The GlobalPoint GPS attaches to the bottom of the
MC70 to provide GPS capabilities to applications running
on the mobile computer. The receiver outputs GPS information as industry standard NMEA sentences which are compatible with most GPS software applications.
The GlobalPoint GPS
receiver for the MC70 mobile computers are built on
the SirfStarIII chip set architecture from
Sirf Technology, Inc.

The GlobalPoint GPS
receiver for the MC9000 series of mobile computers is a low power/high sensitivity Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver.
It is SymbolPLUS Validated for use with Symbol's ruggedized,
mobile computing devices. The GlobalPoint GPS attaches to the bottom of the
MC90XX, and requires no external connections. The receiver outputs GPS information as industry standard NMEA sentences which are compatible with most GPS software applications.
The GlobalPoint GPS
receiver for the MC90XX mobile computers are built on
the SirfStarII chip set architecture from
Sirf Technology, Inc.

LinksPoint’s GPS receivers offer
typical accuracies of 3-5 meters uncorrected, and 3 meters
or better with Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) correction*.
